Vinho Branco Douro Altano

Altano is made by the Symington family from their own Douro Valley vineyards. they are committed to natural winemaking traditions and to sustainable viticulture. Altano white is made from five typical Douro grape varieties: Viosinho, Malvasia Fina, Moscatel Galego, Rabigato and Códega do Larinho, which together provide fresh, tropical fruit and crisp acidity. Altano takes its name from the warm air currents used by birds to glide over the Douro Valley. At dusk, the call of one of these, the Scops Owl, is almost the only break in the silence. Reward yourself after a busy day with a glass of Altano, in the companionship of friends and family.
